10:00 – 10:50a –  It’s Almost Halftime…  (1 CPE credit) – The OBBBA affected many taxpayers from both the standpoint of earning, or transferring, clean energy credits at a discount. As we near the midterms, some of hte phaseout deadlines are nearing or have passed. This will likely make certain “Trump-friendly” energy credits more attractive for those looking to achieve tax savings by purchasing at a discount. And there will be big changes related to some old favorites.  For those new to these credits, the session will review the basics of transferring credits- made much easier by the final Treasury Regulations Issued in 2024. These credits may now be directly transferred between completely unrelated taxpayers! You do not need any connection to clean energy whatsoever to buy and use a clean-energy tax credit- no solar panels on your roof, no EV cars, etc.! Taxpayers with qualifying tax liabilities have saved billions in immediate and permanent tax dollars by purchasing these (IRS pre-registered) dollar-for-dollar credits at a discount. This presentation will put eligible companies, and their advisors, in great shape to benefit from recent developments. Presented by Michael Minihan (Founder/ Managing Director) of BX3

11:00- 11:50p– Compliance and Best Practices for the IC-DISC Production and Export Incentive (1 CPE credit) – What should your company or client have in order to support tax savings from the Interest Charge Domestic International Sales Corporation (“IC-DISC”)? This session will cover key requirements and compliance needed to support claims. Pertinent regulations, and real-world application to various industries, will be covered. Learn about best practices to substantiate  qualifications of propety, entity requirements, and 1120 IC-DISC return compliance. Presented by Amit Mathur, CPA (Partner/Co-Founder) of Quantitax IC-DISC Services.

11:50a – 12:40a– 2026 Q3 Trade Landscape Update for Importers, Manufacturers and Export Incentive (1 CPE credit) –  The trade landscape is changing again, and the financial impact on importers could be signifcant. Join us for a fast-paced, executive-level up to the minute briefing covering the latest developments affecting importers, manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain professionals. We’ll break down the expiration of Section 122 duties, the implementation of the new Section 301 Forced Labor tariffs, Canada’s emerging retaliatory measures under Section 338 authority, and the latest developments surrounding Phase III of the IEEPA tariffs. This interactive session will impart practical knowledge and will feature actual and current examples of common- and often costly- misconceptions. Presented by Damon Piatek (President/CEO) of Piatek Customs & Logistics.
